Work creates in our life not only a lot of problems, exposing us to stress and anxiety, but it is also able to heal some psychological conditions so that they do not turn out to be obsessive.

What does work therapy save from and what is its use?

1. Loneliness

The main character of the film “Office Romance”, Lyudmila Prokofievna, is a vivid example of the propaganda of work therapy. After all, she frankly admitted to Novoseltsev that work saves her from loneliness. She occupied the main role in her life, and of her own free will. And she was not afraid of problems, because she herself was chasing them in order to somehow diversify her life, throw out emotions and discharge herself from depressive thoughts about an undeveloped personal life.

Why do single women, who gave their best years to painstaking work, continue to work at retirement age on their own initiative? Work saves them from bitter loneliness, from daily longing and nostalgia for the bygone youth. Work allows them to feel in demand, at least in front of themselves. She does not allow them to bury their femininity, which they continue to contemplate every morning in the mirror.

2. Stress

What do you associate the word “work” with? Stress became her obsessive companion. Perhaps you yourself are chasing him, no matter how ridiculous it may sound. It’s simple: you need to get a portion of active hormones, the so-called “stressors”, in order to feel necessary and indispensable at work. After all, it is you who are ready to take on stress, because you know in advance how to deal with it!

Stress is not only a negative thing to be avoided. He is able to give inexplicable peace when you are freed from the negative emotions that he carries in himself.
You probably told your friends or relatives more than once that you lived yesterday in sheer stress. But everything is behind you, you managed to cope, as a result, you don’t need their pity, you can be proud of yourself!

Not to quit, not to give up, but to cope with stress, which at first glance is not necessary at all, although it is actually necessary to make you feel your strength. Fight fire with fire. And this is the benefit of work therapy.

3. Ambitions

Women’s ambitions can be limitless. Since we are used to talking in hints, keeping silent about many things, and temporarily sacrificing something, our ambitions are not as obvious as those of men. But hidden ambitions are much stronger than the frank desire for victory.

For example, not every woman can make a man earn more money. But not everyone will forget about their desires and calm their own ambitions. She will look for opportunities to realize them. And work is the best place to do it. After all, what is not realized at home can be shifted to a career, which will be able to distract from sad thoughts about a man who did not become a winner. Thus, work therapy can save your relationship, because work will provide you with the opportunity to realize your own ambitious goals.

4. Boredom

How do escape from boredom at work, which for many has become a natural phenomenon? Lack of interest in work is dictated by a lack of initiative. It would seem that if you are not required to take initiative, why bother with extra work? To save yourself from boredom, to see your job purpose, to check whether you enjoy what you are doing.

Having tested your abilities, you can easily be convinced that the salvation from boredom lies in your desire to expel it. Try to activate all the dormant potential and at least for a week continuously engage in work itself at work, and if it is not there, invent it, showing an initiative that is useful, first of all, for you.

5. Love

A broken heart, relationships that cannot be returned, suffering that will not calm down after separation. Wounds from unhappy love will be healed only by time, which nevertheless does not need to be spent near a pillow wet with tears. And having cried out his grief into it, gather with all his strength, entering the working stream. You simply need it, regardless of its monotony or saturation. After all, work that obliges you to focus on yourself at the same time distracts you from thinking about him.

Responsible tasks that oblige not only to their high-quality implementation but are also limited by time frames – this is the best therapy during the working day. In the evening, you will have the opportunity to let longing into your thoughts, which will not be able to drive you into a more difficult state if a friend or loved one is nearby.

Work therapy is a voluntary activity, a clearing in the dead-end of everyday life, a rebound shot that can return to you in a radically opposite state. “Shooting” into loneliness – you will get salvation, into stress – victory, into dissatisfaction – ambitions, into boredom – initiative, into unhappy love – temporary peace. And in the complex – a new life! Good luck!
